He Was Already Inside - 8X10
The door was locked.
The hallway was silent.
Then the wood began to split.
A deranged figure forces his way through the shattered doorway, gripping the broken frame while staring directly through the opening with an expression that is far too excited to be human. Every splinter, wrinkle, shadow, and tooth is rendered in harsh monochrome detail, capturing the exact second when the barrier between safety and terror finally gives way.
The most disturbing part is not that he broke through.
It is the realization that he may have been standing on the other side the entire time, waiting for someone to look.
Laser engraved onto an 8 × 10 canvas board, He Was Already Inside uses deep shadows, distressed wood textures, and an unnaturally wide grin to create a claustrophobic horror scene that feels as though it is pushing beyond the surface of the artwork.
